Sadly the release date has been pushed to Spring 2014, although I would rather they fix out all the little bugs and glitches to make the game run smoothly then have it released with issues. For $60 I want a game that you know, works. So alas, I must be patient and wait for it to hopefully be released on time this go around. It’s only a handful of months away at best, but my fingers are just itching to give this one a go. So many hours of gameplay could potientially be put into this depending on what you choose to do.

For those of you who don’t know, here is a quick summary of the game by Ubi.com

Set in Chicago, where a central network of computers connects everyone and everything, Watch_Dogs explores the impact of technology within our society. Using the city as your weapon, you will embark on a personal mission to inflict your own brand of justice.

Chicago’s overarching network is known as the Central Operating System (ctOS), and it controls almost all of the city’s technology and information – including key data on all of the city’s residents.

You play as Aiden Pearce, a brilliant hacker and former thug, whose criminal past led to a violent family tragedy. While seeking justice for those events, you’ll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand. You’ll access omnipresent security cameras, download personal information to locate a target, control traffic lights and public transportation to stop the enemy… and more.

It’s an amazing looking game with beautiful graphics and almost unlimited options in some aspects of gameplay. If you like sandbox, hacking, with some detective styled work involved and amazing fight scenes, this is one to keep an eye out for. I definitely am going to do so!
